Surgeons and healthcare professionals are invited to join a free educational webinar, “How to Close with Confidence,” taking place on Monday, 10 November 2025, at 6:30 PM GMT.

The one-hour online session will delve into the critical role of intraoperative vascular patency assessment during arterial revascularisation and explore the range of techniques available to optimise outcomes.
Ensuring vascular patency is essential for surgical success, yet selecting the right assessment method can be complex. This webinar will guide attendees through the tools and techniques used to evaluate patency in the operating room including angiography, Duplex Ultrasound, and intraoperative Doppler probes and examine how these approaches can be used individually or in combination.
An expert panel of leading UK and international vascular surgeons will share their clinical insights, discuss real-world practice, and offer practical considerations for choosing between single or multi-modality strategies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers during a live Q&A session.
Featured speakers include:
- Mr David Bosanquet – Consultant Vascular Surgeon, South East Wales Vascular Network (SEWVN)
- Professor Athanasios Saratzis – NIHR Research Professor of Vascular Surgery, University of Leicester
- Leigh Ann O'Banion – Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, University of California San Francisco, Fresno Branch Campus
- Lukla Biasi – Consultant Vascular Endovascular Surgeon
