The Surgeon Show to bring senior clinical and healthcare leaders together in London

Senior surgeons, NHS leaders and healthcare innovators will come together in London next February for The Surgeon Show 2027, a national event focused on the future of surgery.

The Surgeon Show returns to the Business Design Centre on Friday 19 February 2027, bringing together the people shaping how surgical services are planned, delivered and improved across the UK.

With more than 50 speakers already confirmed, the programme will examine the clinical, operational and technological changes affecting surgery, from robotics and artificial intelligence to workforce development, training and NHS capacity.

Held under the theme Tomorrow’s Surgeon. Tomorrow’s Technology. Today., the Show has been designed as a meeting place for the surgical community and the wider group of healthcare leaders, innovators and organisations working to improve surgical care.

Who should attend?

The event is aimed at consultant surgeons, clinical directors, surgical leads and senior members of multidisciplinary teams who are leading change within their specialties and organisations.

They will be joined by executives and decision-makers from NHS trusts, integrated care systems and independent healthcare providers, including leaders working across transformation, operations, workforce, procurement and service improvement.

For hospital leaders facing pressure to increase capacity and productivity while improving patient outcomes, the event provides an opportunity to hear how other organisations are responding, share experience and explore what is working in practice.

Technology companies, innovators and researchers will also be part of the community. As robotics, data, AI and advanced medical devices take on a greater role in surgery, the Show will examine not only what these technologies can do, but the evidence, training and implementation required to translate them into clinical practice.

Academic surgeons, educators and training leads will explore what these changes mean for the skills required by future surgical teams, while policymakers and professional bodies will contribute to discussions around regulation, investment, workforce planning and clinical standards.

While surgeons are at the heart of the event, The Surgeon Show has been designed for everyone with a senior role in improving surgical care.

Whether leading a clinical team, redesigning a service, developing new technology, conducting research or preparing the surgical workforce for the future, the event provides a place to exchange ideas, build relationships and connect clinical need with the people and organisations capable of addressing it.

Attendance is complimentary for eligible senior surgical and healthcare leaders, subject to application or invitation. Apply here.
