Celebrating 30 Years of Success: ACPGBI presents Advanced Coloproctology Course for surgeons

In a testament to its enduring success, the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Advanced Coloproctology Course is set to mark its 30th year by offering a comprehensive update for surgeons and medical professionals.

The ACPGBI is a group of 1,000-plus surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals who advance the knowledge and treatment of bowel diseases in Britain and Ireland.

Following the positive reception of its interactive online format, the course is gearing up for another impactful session scheduled for Wednesday 20 March to Thursday 21 March.

The ACPGBI Advanced Coloproctology Course has been a stalwart in surgical education, consistently delivering valuable insights.

Responding to the acclaim received for its online approach, the course organisers are thrilled to present this proven format once again in 2024.

Participants can expect a meticulously planned programme that is designed to cover current issues, provide an overview of the latest evidence and offer practical tips and discussions.

Aligned with the ISCP curriculum, the course focuses on the essential information required for surgical trainees to excel in their FRCS examinations.

The combination of short presentations and engaging panel discussions is aimed to keep participants actively involved.

Geared towards trainees, consultants and members of multidisciplinary teams seeking an update, the course will be available on demand until the approach of the 2025 session.

While interactive features are exclusive to the live course, organisers strongly encourage active participation whenever possible.

The aim is to keep registration costs as low as possible to allow maximum participation, so registration is free for undergraduates and individuals from lower/middle-income countries.
