Confederation of British Surgery to exhibit at The Surgeon Show

The Confederation of British Surgery (CBS) has confirmed it will be exhibiting at The Surgeon Show, bringing its message of representation, support and national advocacy to one of the UK’s leading events for the surgical profession.

CBS is proud to attend the flagship event and is inviting all delegates to visit the stand and find out more about how CBS supports surgical professionals across the UK.

As the only trade union representing the entire surgical team, CBS was designed by surgeons for surgical professionals, with a clear focus on addressing the realities of working in modern surgical environments. Membership offers access to confidential support and representation, tailored specifically to the needs of surgical teams and delivered by advisers who understand the pressures and demands of the profession.

Clare Belton, General Manager said:
“We’re proud to be exhibiting at The Surgeon Show and to meet surgical professionals from across the UK. CBS exists to support the whole surgical team, with expert, confidential advice and representation when it’s needed most, as well as a strong voice influencing the future of surgery at national level.”

Through the Surgical Advisory Service, members can access expert guidance on a wide range of workplace issues, including bullying and harassment, job planning, terms and conditions of employment, and more, with help available directly by phone.

Alongside individual support, CBS provides strong national advocacy, actively influencing the policies and decisions that shape how surgery is delivered across the UK. The organisation also champions the issues impacting surgeons and surgical teams in the media, helping to raise awareness, strengthen understanding, and drive meaningful change.

CBS believes that by bringing professionals together under one united voice, the surgical workforce can better tackle the challenges facing the profession and help protect the future of surgery for patients across the country.
