Global Surgical Frontiers (GSF) is a three-day hybrid conference taking place on 25, 26 and 27 June 2024 and is hosted at the Royal College of Surgeons of England London HQ and aims to address challenges and share solutions for global surgical, dental, and obstetric care.
The event is perfect for anyone interested in global surgery and is the global health conference of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Faculty of Dental Surgery for 2024.
It brings together the wider surgical and dental community, policymakers, non-governmental organisations, development agencies, trainees, students and academics to understand the challenges and share evidence-based solutions for improving access to timely, safe and affordable surgical, dental, obstetric, anaesthesia and trauma care in resource-limited settings.
Tickets are available to book for one or more days of the conference, and every in-person ticket includes access to a networking reception at the end of each day. RCS England members receive up to 75% off tickets.

Each day will have a different focus:
Tuesday 25 June is centred around Global Oral Health. This is an excellent opportunity for organisations, institutions and healthcare professionals interested and involved in oral health care promotion and management to meet and discuss the latest innovations in oral health. Included in the day will be the Global Oral Health Poster Competition, open to all dental professionals attending the conference. Wednesday 26 June is focused on Global Surgical Partnerships. There will be sessions on surgical specialty associations, non-governmental organisations, and international surgical organisations.
Thursday 27 June is the final day of the Global Surgical Frontiers conference focusing on Global Surgical Policy and Advocacy.
All healthcare professionals attending the conference on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 June are invited to enter the Global Surgery Poster Competition on their chosen oral health or global health topic, or submit photos for our global surgery photography competition

• Together with PhotoAid Global Foundation, the college is using photography to advocate for global health. Attendees can submit photos to our competition for the chance to win £250.
