Brought to you by SURGERY, The Surgeon Show returns for its second year with Intuitive, a global leader in minimally invasive care and pioneer of robotic-assisted surgery, as headline partner.
The 2027 programme will examine digital surgery and artificial intelligence, robotics, emerging medical devices, the future operating theatre and healthcare strategy. Keynote presentations, panel discussions, case studies and live demonstrations will explore the leadership, systems and practical steps needed to implement innovation safely, effectively and at scale.
Professor Shafi Ahmed, multi-award-winning surgeon, educator and global innovator, said:
“The calibre of speakers joining The Surgeon Show reflects our ambition to bring together the people shaping the future of surgical care. These are leaders with first-hand experience of advancing clinical practice, introducing new technologies and leading change across healthcare.
“With more than 50 experts already joining our faculty, delegates will have the opportunity to hear a breadth of perspectives, learn from practical experience and discuss how we turn new ideas into better care for patients.”
An international advisory board guides the scientific programme and speaker faculty, helping ensure discussions address the challenges and opportunities facing modern surgical practice.
Alongside the conference programme, the Innovation Floor will provide a dedicated exhibition and networking space where delegates can explore emerging technologies, see demonstrations and speak directly with organisations developing surgical products and services.
